Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)
DraftKingsResponsibilities
- Build and contribute to systems supporting DraftKings’ core sports technology platform.
- Collaborate with backend or web development teams to improve product performance.
- Ship production code that addresses evolving business and product needs.
- Apply agile methodologies to deliver reliable and scalable software.
- Write testable, efficient, and production-ready code.
- Work with mentors and cross-functional teams across the global technology organization.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience building software through classes, side projects, or hackathons.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
- Exposure to object-oriented programming languages such as TypeScript, C#, or Java.
- Basic knowledge of unit testing or automated end-to-end testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- May be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency.
