Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang, or a similar programming language.
  • Add features, debug software, and identify and track issues in Red Hat products such as RHEL and OpenShift.
  • Collaborate with engineering, Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Documentation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in mentorship, intern curriculum, professional development, networking, and multiple Global Engineering projects.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Basic knowledge of and passion for software engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of and willingness to use Python, Golang, or a similar programming language.
  • Curiosity, passion for creating new things, and interest in understanding how systems work internally.
  • Willingness to learn and proactively contribute as part of a wider team.
