Base Salary
$400k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a foundational model from the ground up using a novel architecture.
- Work across model architecture, training, and reinforcement learning.
- Establish the engineering foundations for an early-stage AI team.
- Partner closely with the founding team as the first engineer.
- Contribute as a hands-on individual engineer rather than primarily in a management role.
Requirements
- PhD required.
- Experience at a frontier AI lab required.
- Hands-on individual-contributor engineering experience required.
- Experience spanning foundational model architecture, training, and reinforcement learning required.
Benefits
- Base salary up to $400,000 plus equity.
