Base Salary
$152k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into system requirements, software architectures, and technical designs.
- Design and develop vehicle interface abstraction, vehicle network topology and infrastructure, data flow, time synchronization, and other system-level capabilities.
- Develop, document, implement, and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance.
- Design, develop, deploy, and improve AI agents and AI-assisted workflows for engineering automation and developer productivity.
- Apply generative AI and agentic workflows to improve engineering efficiency, software quality, and development processes.
- Debug system-level issues spanning software, operating systems, networking, middleware, and hardware interfaces.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to integrate, test, and deliver software capabilities on the DRIVE OS platform.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant software or systems engineering experience.
- Strong C and C++ programming skills for designing, developing, integrating, and debugging complex software systems.
- Experience with Linux, QNX, Android, or other embedded or real-time operating systems across hardware, operating system, middleware, and application layers.
- Experience developing or integrating AI-powered tools, AI agents, or automation into software engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with AI development tools, APIs, scripting languages, and frameworks for agent-based automation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multifunctional engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of automotive systems, ADAS, autonomous driving, vehicle electrical architectures, automotive communication networks, embedded systems, QNX, generative AI, large language models, AI agents, Python, and engineering-tool automation.

- Base salary range is USD 152,000–241,500, determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay.
