Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate core services supporting global execution platforms across cash, futures, and options.
- Identify and reduce operational risk through tooling, automation, and platform design.
- Collaborate with client coverage and trading desk teams to improve execution products based on real-world usage.
- Own services end to end from requirements gathering and design through testing, release, and production operation.
- Partner with compliance, client service, and trade execution teams to deliver changes that perform under live trading conditions.
- Replace manual processes with durable, automated solutions that scale across regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, SRE, production engineering, or DevOps.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as Java or C++ and one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, analytical ability, communication skills, ownership, and interest in financial markets.
- Willingness to work across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, QA testing, and production release.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, equity-market knowledge, experience with secure distributed systems, low-latency high-availability services, databases, cloud architectures, testing frameworks, infrastructure tooling, and build and collaboration tools.
