Base Salary
$180k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software and firmware for devices shipped to customers.
- Own the full engineering cycle, including scoping, architecture, and low-level design.
- Utilize test-driven and data-driven methods for development.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to other parts of the stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in an embedded engineering role.
- Proficient in C, C++, or Go programming languages.
- Experience in owning software features or projects end to end.
- Familiarity with low-level interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, and knowledge of FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux is preferred.
- Experience with networking and wireless communication protocols is preferred.
- Basic electrical engineering skills, including reading schematics, are preferred.
- Must be willing to work onsite five days a week.
