Base Salary
$239k - $289k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance engine code for user-created Roblox games.
- Build core systems and data structures for the Roblox Engine DataModel.
- Maintain C++ reflection bindings and related generated engine structures for the Luau API.
- Work with other teams to develop universal solutions.
- Own projects throughout their full lifecycles.
- Optimize code for desktop, mobile phone, and console devices.
Requirements
- Experience developing high-quality systems-level C++ software.
- Experience working on game engines or other performance-sensitive products.
- Understanding or curiosity about CPU behavior involving smart pointers, templates, virtual functions, and structured and raw memory.
- Ability to build and maintain systems that operate optimally.
- Curiosity and commitment to staying current with technology developments.
