Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the camera storage stack for storing large AI models and video files while maximizing utilization and reliability
- Collaborate with the Hardware team and external storage vendors to define and validate next-generation flash storage systems
- Design storage systems that optimize hardware cost, endurance, and throughput
- Own storage reliability metrics and use data to drive system improvements
- Partner with the Streaming team to develop solutions for superior video retention
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar degree
- More than 5 years of software development experience in C
- Strong familiarity with file system layout, memory management, the Yocto build system, device drivers, kernel debugging, eBPF, and the MMC protocol
- Experience with C++ or Go is considered an asset
- Backend development experience in distributed systems, containerization, and microservices such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes is a strong plus
