Base Salary
$128k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and architecture for complex embedded systems.
- Design and implement embedded software running on drone vehicles.
- Characterize, integrate, and validate subsystems such as cameras and radios.
- Bring up and debug new hardware.
- Write interfaces and drivers for sensors and other devices.
Requirements
- Experience writing modern C++ in real-time embedded environments.
- Python development experience.
- Practical firmware or embedded software experience for physical devices.
- Experience with system-on-chip development, embedded microcontrollers, and camera drivers; Qualcomm experience is a plus.
- Experience with embedded Linux userspace and kernel development.
- Knowledge of low-level firmware, hardware bring-up, system debugging, and code optimization.
- Ability to debug systems at the ARM assembly level.
- Knowledge of embedded security and cryptographic firmware development.
