Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of on-device camera platform features in C++ and Golang.
- Translate product requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with streaming, storage, AI engineering, and product teams on edge computing features.
- Lead code reviews, guide debugging, and maintain coding standards and code quality.
- Drive and coordinate regular over-the-air releases while balancing delivery speed, stability, and reliability.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional systems software development experience in performance- and resource-constrained environments.
- Proficiency in C++ or Golang.
- 2+ years of experience building software for Linux-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern operating systems, computer architecture, and compute, memory, and storage trade-offs.
- Familiarity with Bash scripting and Python for tooling and automation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week.
- Experience developing on-device software for cloud-connected devices is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux Kernel development is preferred.
