Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development, integration, and maintenance of on-device camera platform features in C++ and Golang.
- Own camera image-processing and quality pipelines on the device.
- Partner with streaming, storage, and AI engineering teams to deliver features optimized for edge-computing environments.
- Drive and coordinate regular over-the-air releases while maintaining platform stability and reliability.
- Lead code reviews, guide debugging efforts, and uphold coding standards to improve maintainability and reduce defects.
- Translate product requirements into technical specifications and scalable, production-ready implementation plans.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and three years of professional systems software development experience, or a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields and five years of such experience.
- Knowledge of C++ or Golang.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting and Python.
- Knowledge of building software for Linux-based platforms.
- Knowledge of developing and tuning camera image pipelines.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
