Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to onboard and deploy applications onto DRW’s Kubernetes platform.
- Administer and improve a large-scale container infrastructure platform across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Automate repetitive manual tasks and build new platform features and components.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
- Provide customer service and technical support to platform users, trading desks, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor costs and optimize compute consumption for business units.
- Collaborate across teams to solve complex technical and operational problems.
Requirements
- Experience working with or administering Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and containerization fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Service-focused approach with the ability to identify appropriate resources and solutions for internal users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across teams on technical and operational topics.
- Ability and willingness to learn, collaborate, and solve problems under constraints.
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes operators such as Flux, Fluentbit, Fluentd, or Prometheus.
- Preferred: experience administering on-premises infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and supporting full-stack web applications.
- Preferred: experience with multiple programming languages across greenfield development and legacy maintenance.
