Responsibilities
- Contribute to team projects and goals with support from other engineers.
- Collaborate proactively with teammates, product managers, and stakeholders while communicating risks and trade-offs.
- Build robust Collections platform solutions that support growing volume and maintain high availability and reliability.
- Balance speed and quality while protecting systems from downtime.
- Contribute to team community, growth, and development activities.
- Develop and implement recovery strategies for loans during delinquency.
Requirements
- Previous work or internship experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
- Experience using Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, tested, extensible code.
- Ability to navigate a large codebase, debug other engineers’ code, and provide code-review feedback.
- Demonstrated ownership of professional growth and proactive feedback-seeking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
