Responsibilities

  • Develop test strategies and ML test harnesses for AI inference accelerators.
  • Develop and automate test plans, test frameworks, and Development Integration Testing solutions.
  • Validate firmware, runtime, compiler, inference software, hardware/software interfaces, PCIe, DMA, memory, and peripheral subsystems.
  • Perform system integration, feature validation, regression testing, release qualification, and Go/No-Go quality assessments.
  • Onboard, validate, and optimize open-source AI models on accelerator platforms.
  • Build CI infrastructure, continuous testing workflows, and software quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with firmware and application software stakeholders and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 1+ year, or a PhD in a related field.
  • At least 1 year of work or academic experience with software or system testing and developing or automating test plans or tools.
  • Strong Python and Shell scripting experience, plus C/C++ development, debugging, and testing on embedded platforms.
  • Experience with automated test frameworks, Development Integration Testing, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, and build automation.
  • Understanding of ML software ecosystems, deep learning, transformer architecture, LLM-serving KPIs, AI inference runtimes, compiler technologies, and model deployment workflows.
  • Experience with SoC architecture, memory hierarchy, interrupts, power management, multithreaded programming, PCIe, DMA, and peripheral subsystems.
  • Experience with open-source AI/ML models and frameworks such as Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
  • Familiarity with PCIe, LPDDR, ECC, PCIe AER, RAS, reliability validation, scalable automation, continuous testing, and end-to-end system integration.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in software quality, validation, automation, and release readiness, with experience mentoring engineers.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across global cross-functional teams.
