Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Java, Unix CLI, and Node.js ecosystems.
- Build and operate infrastructure workflows and deployment pipelines with Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Argo CD, and GitOps practices.
- Design, build, and own Java services and APIs running on Kubernetes platforms across AWS and distributed systems.
- Develop and support application and infrastructure delivery pipelines for eCommerce, authentication, and infrastructure services.
- Collaborate across departments to advance security and technical standards and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Operate and support high-volume, mission-critical production systems with observability and logging platforms.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of strong backend software engineering experience in Java.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including Helm, Kustomize, or equivalent deployment and management tools.
- Experience building and operating high-volume, mission-critical production systems on AWS with continuous deployment practices.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience supporting backend applications and services.
- Experience with observability and logging platforms, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Preferred experience with Cassandra, DynamoDB, SQL-based systems, authentication and authorization technologies, CloudFormation, AWS services, Akamai GTM, log collection tools, Argo tooling, and certificate or secret rotation.
