Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, debug, monitor, and improve production AI-native services, agent systems, APIs, automation services, data pipelines, and cloud-native components.
  • Build reliable agent and multi-agent solutions with secure tools, enterprise context, prompts, resources, APIs, knowledge sources, and reusable capabilities.
  • Architect and govern AI-enabled engineering workflows with validation, security, resiliency, auditability, and reuse guardrails.
  • Implement tool calling, planner/executor patterns, memory, state management, long-running workflows, human-in-the-loop review, approval gates, access controls, audit trails, and safe-failure behavior.
  • Develop ingestion, transformation, curation, metadata enrichment, retrieval, vector/search, data quality, connector, and integration pipelines for AI grounding.
  • Own observability, tracing, telemetry, evaluation, regression testing, prompt and version management, drift monitoring, incident response, resiliency testing, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
  • Lead design and code reviews, debugging sessions, incident analysis, technical spikes, reference implementations, mentoring, and stakeholder-driven engineering roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
  • Production experience architecting, developing, deploying, operating, debugging, and improving AI systems, agentic services, APIs, automation services, and cloud-native workloads.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google ADK and MCP, or equivalent production experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, AutoGen, Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar ecosystems.
  • Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices, including human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, traceability, and sensitive-data protection.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI, security, resiliency, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance, with the ability to influence senior technical leaders.
  • High proficiency in Python and practical experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or equivalent libraries.
  • Experience designing versioned prompts, tool instructions, few-shot examples, chained workflows, testing, regression analysis, review, traceability, and release controls.
  • Experience with embeddings, vector stores, search, retrieval, ranking, grounding, context assembly, evidence-based responses, model evaluation, hosted APIs, self-managed deployments, caching, batching, routing, and fallback patterns.
  • Experience evaluating and monitoring LLM and agent behavior for task success, factuality, groundedness, policy compliance, hallucinations, regressions, latency, cost, tool-use accuracy, drift, and operational anomalies.
  • Experience implementing prompt-injection resistance, secure tool use, output validation, sensitive-data handling, decision traceability, custom MCP servers and tools, connectors, tool registries, and interoperability patterns.
  • Preferred: experience with FINOS CALM or similar architecture models and with operating enterprise repositories and artifact stores for architecture metadata, controls, compliance evidence, and reusable patterns.
  • Preferred: experience mitigating prompt injection, tool misuse, data leakage, unauthorized actions, insecure retrieval, data poisoning, unsafe model behavior, model deployment, registries, evaluation pipelines, CI/CD for AI services, scalable serving, and runtime observability.
