Base Salary
$131k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop tools for designing, building, deploying, and supporting simulation infrastructure.
- Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulations using MATLAB, Simulink, and NASA’s TRICK framework.
- Collaborate with GN&C, subsystem, and spacecraft systems engineers to develop low- and high-fidelity plant models.
- Develop and execute simulations and tools for functionality verification.
- Support model validation and verification by working with engineers across disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related qualifying field.
- At least 5 years of software development and debugging experience, particularly with C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Experience auto-coding Simulink to C++.
- Strong knowledge of rigid body dynamics, fluid mechanics, and first-principles physics-based mathematical models.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks, GitLab-based CI pipelines, and Git configuration management.
- Preferred: MS or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Preferred: software/hardware boundary debugging, software verification, SIL/HIL testing, large-data software, aerospace simulation/model verification and validation, plant physics/sensor/actuator modeling, aerospace systems, AI-augmented workflows, Bash, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
