Base Salary
$92k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support firmware and software research and development projects.
- Develop firmware and software architecture specifications and research algorithms and implementation approaches.
- Design, validate, integrate, and synthesize firmware for target platforms.
- Develop and maintain software code and integrate it into fully functional systems.
- Troubleshoot firmware and software issues.
- Assist with test procedures and document test results to verify embedded system requirements.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret clearance after starting.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience with System on Chip hardware/software, C++ development in a Windows environment, and Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of related experience for Mid-Level or 9+ years for Lead-level candidates, or equivalent education and experience.
- Preferred experience includes AMD/Xilinx Vivado/Vitis, FreeRTOS, FPGA processor or memory interconnects, MATLAB or Mathematica, HDL, VHDL, Java, communications interfaces, sensor acquisition and processing, servo control, and electro-optical systems.
- Must be willing to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Successful candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process and U.S. export control requirements.
