Base Salary
$137k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Become a domain expert in Stripe Connect and its Risk and Compliance areas.
- Investigate technical inquiries from internal teams and external partners’ technical teams, including making code changes when needed.
- Organize and direct complex technical changes for product releases, merchant onboarding, and migrations.
- Automate inefficient or unnecessary manual processes through direct coding or coordination of broader code changes.
- Design alerting systems to accelerate incident response and prevent incidents.
- Analyze data to measure the impact of risk and compliance interventions and identify future product opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical or technical user-facing roles.
- At least 2 years of experience with developer tools including Git.
- At least 2 years of scripting and automation experience including Ruby and Python.
- At least 2 years of experience writing tooling and automation, including testing and idempotency.
- At least 2 years of experience with observability tooling, including Prometheus, Datadog, LogScale, and Honeycomb.
- At least 2 years of experience with incident response, on-call rotations, runbooks, and postmortem processes.
- At least 2 years of experience using SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL for operational tasks.
