Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software based on functional specifications, including logic and algorithm design.
- Identify refactoring opportunities and architectural improvements within existing codebases.
- Create and apply automated, unit, and other software tests before code review.
- Conduct moderately complex peer code reviews and contribute to technical recommendations and product documentation.
- Contribute to delivery pipelines, test automation, security, performance, and established software development processes.
- Support planning, estimation, solution demonstrations, reviews, and team standards.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex production and software code issues to maintain application stability and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–6 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, software design, continuous software delivery, and engineering best practices.
- Experience with one or more of Java, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience in Windows or Linux development environments using open source tools and platforms.
- Experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, test automation, and continuous integration tools.
- Working knowledge of software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks.
- Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and project completion skills.
- Ability to provide constructive technical feedback, learn emerging tools and practices, and make data-driven recommendations for process and documentation improvements.
- Ability to support up to 10% travel and work across distributed teams and time zones.
