Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated controls to detect and mitigate malicious traffic in real time.
- Develop scalable and performant microservices using Go.
- Apply language models to detect anomalous patterns and improve security-threat contextualization.
- Propose and implement security improvements for resilient, observable, and secure platforms.
- Contribute to early detection and response for emerging web attack vectors with security and infrastructure teams.
- Conduct code reviews and implement functionality that improves solution security and availability.
Requirements
- Solid backend development experience with Go and microservices architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, including automated testing, observability, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of web threats such as fingerprinting, scanners, malicious automation, and control-evasion techniques.
- Experience applying language models or machine learning to automated-traffic detection and analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services from providers such as AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices.
