Responsibilities
- Design and evolve architectures and services that protect users from security incidents.
- Co-design and develop low-latency, highly available fraud-detection services.
- Build and maintain the rules engine and fraud-detection pipelines.
- Integrate entities, rules, and risk models into production decision flows.
- Maintain observability and operational quality through alerts, monitoring dashboards, and automated tests.
- Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis for highly critical services.
- Improve application quality, performance, security, and availability.
Requirements
- Experience as a Software Engineer developing and operating backend systems in production.
- Proficiency in Java or other high-performance compiled languages.
- Experience designing low-latency distributed systems, microservices, and messaging patterns.
- Knowledge of data structures, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience with streaming systems such as Kafka and in-memory databases such as Redis.
- Experience with cloud application monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
