Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to implement secure software development practices.
- Contribute to critical engineering and tooling projects ensuring security is prioritized.
- Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions for security integration.
- Design and develop reusable security components and APIs for application development.
- Define and promote best practices for software security.
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing actionable security recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to design secure solutions and validate security objectives.
- Evaluate and implement security tools to improve visibility and reduce risk.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in application security, software development, or a related engineering role.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with security design reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews.
- Familiarity with common application vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security scanners.
- Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
