Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Package and deploy applications using Helm charts.
- Implement and enforce policy controls using Istio and related tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning.
- Deploy and operate workloads on AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.
- Manage and harden container images with DoW-approved registries.
- Configure and maintain observability stacks including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Participate in ATO processes and support compliance scanning.
- Collaborate with teams to refine DevSecOps practices.
- Support air-gapped and classified environment deployments.
- Coordinate with government platform teams and service providers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience deploying and managing applications via Helm.
- Working knowledge of Istio, OPA Gatekeeper, and similar tools.
- Experience with major CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with container image workflows and OCI registries.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with SSO and identity federation technologies.
- Active DoW security clearance (Secret or higher).
