Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement cloud SaaS solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver the software platform in alignment with stakeholder requirements.
- Work with the head of engineering, product managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Manage engineering activities and determine team resourcing.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for engineering design and implementation.
- Demonstrate technical leadership, mentor the team, and contribute hands-on to software development.
Requirements
- 9+ years of professional hands-on software development experience.
- 9+ years of experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Aurora.
- Strong understanding of data structures, indexing, and searching.
- Ability to integrate with Elasticsearch and run queries and reports.
- At least 3 years of experience building microservices.
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Redshift.
- Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, version control systems, CI/CD pipeline tools, workflow tools, and Jenkins.
- Experience writing test cases, build scripts, and applying Test-Driven Development principles.
- Experience integrating applications with Redis or Memcached is a plus.
- Experience with Flutter and mobile or tablet development is a plus.
- AI/machine learning experience is a plus.
- Experience with BigQuery, Metabase, and vertical SaaS ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to lead a team, collaborate effectively, work independently, and solve complex problems.
