Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI, end-to-end, API, service-layer, contract, gRPC, event-driven, mobile, accessibility, performance, resilience, and database test automation.
- Design modular, scalable test frameworks with data-driven and keyword-driven patterns, test fixtures, factories, seed data, environment configuration, parallel execution, and test sharding.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as quality gates, including containerized execution with Docker and GitLab CI.
- Conduct cross-browser, responsive, visual regression, load, stress, security, and accessibility testing across development and production-related environments.
- Analyze test reporting, pass rates, flakiness, coverage, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and response-time degradation.
- Use AI-assisted tools for test generation and maintenance, test data generation, defect triage, and flaky-test analysis.
- Participate in requirements analysis, test planning, execution, defect lifecycle management, Agile ceremonies, and release-readiness activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
- Proficiency writing maintainable automation code in TypeScript or JavaScript, with Python for scripting and automation utilities.
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress, Selenium, RESTful API testing, contract testing, gRPC, message queues, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience with SQL database validation using PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Experience with mobile testing using Appium or an equivalent tool.
- Experience with accessibility testing, WCAG compliance, axe-core, or Lighthouse.
- Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing for microservices.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
- Ability to use Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, test reporting systems, and Jira.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or Gatling and basic OWASP Top 10 security testing concepts.
- Background in brand protection, IP enforcement, digital investigation, or enterprise SaaS domains is preferred.
