Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead code and design reviews, technical decisions, development standards, and strategic product initiatives.
- Design, build, debug, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize scalable full-stack web applications.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle and develop reusable code, libraries, development tools, and test coverage.
- Configure environments, monitor system health, support production systems, and respond to on-call incidents and critical disruptions.
- Design and optimize data structures, SQL and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, APIs, and system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, system administration, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training, support, and guidance.
- Champion API-first software development and lead adoption of AI-driven engineering practices, code modernization, specification-driven development, and agentic workflows.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of related software development experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming experience with Java or C# and proven full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, as well as HTML and CSS.
- Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment, Kubernetes, monitoring, production support, and performance optimization.
- Advanced experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, testing strategies, and REST API best practices.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, time-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, SaaS experience in technology or financial industries, Amazon Web Services experience with Kubernetes, and Flutter experience.
