Responsibilities
- Define and own quality strategy for deterministic Salesforce functionality and non-deterministic AI and agentic capabilities.
- Create test plans, test cases, evaluation frameworks, golden datasets, regression benchmarks, and output-quality rubrics.
- Execute and automate functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems.
- Identify, document, triage, and drive resolution of defects involving Apex, LWC, Flow, integrations, and AI behavior.
- Partner with developers and business stakeholders to establish testable requirements, acceptance criteria, AI guardrails, and responsible-AI standards.
- Monitor production AI features for quality drift and performance degradation and define escalation paths.
- Support release management, packaging, compliance, audit evidence, and traceability.
- Train and mentor less-senior QA engineers in Salesforce automation and AI/agentic testing practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software quality engineering or test engineering experience, including at least 2 years testing enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of software quality methodologies and Salesforce release-cycle governance.
- Strong Salesforce test automation experience using Apex unit and integration testing, LWC Jest testing, and UI automation frameworks such as Provar, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data, sharing, security, permissions, and their effects on functional and AI testing.
- Working knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, REST and SOAP API integration testing, Platform Events, and middleware such as MuleSoft.
- Hands-on experience testing AI-driven and agentic features, including evaluation rubrics, golden datasets, prompt and agent regression suites, and acceptable-variance thresholds.
- Experience testing Agentforce, Copilot/Einstein-style features, and Prompt Builder workflows for accuracy, grounding, hallucination risk, and business-rule adherence.
- Ability to evaluate AI outputs for bias, privacy, responsible-AI concerns, and residual risk.
- Knowledge of test-driven development, behavior-driven development, acceptance-criteria design, defect triage, and AI-assisted testing tools.
- Experience with Salesforce releases, Agentforce and AI feature rollouts, and broader sales technology such as CPQ/Incentive Comp platforms, Gainsight, and Monday.com.
- Strong communication, research, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with AI/ML, LLM-powered, or generative AI features and regulated or audited release environments is preferred; Salesforce certifications are a plus.
