Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive, scalable AI agents running in production.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents and define Agent Development Life Cycle best practices.
- Work directly with enterprise leaders and startups to understand business challenges and build AI agent solutions.
- Embed AI agents across customer business stacks to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Surface customer needs, prototype tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
- Develop industry-specific AI agent frameworks and explore new agent architectures and self-service capabilities.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s mindset, high agency, and the ability to creatively overcome obstacles and ship.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Genuine interest in financial services and improving end-customer experiences.
- Experience in financial technology, financial institution implementations, work inside financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
- Founder or founding engineer experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI agent tools, evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing roles or technical project leadership with external stakeholders is preferred.
