Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, high-performing, scalable web applications.
- Review business requirements and help break them into user stories for the team backlog.
- Create and maintain technical specifications.
- Develop user stories using C# .NET Web APIs, Node.js, and SQL Server while writing unit tests.
- Perform code reviews and maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms.
- Participate in implementing, operating, and troubleshooting cloud-based and cloud-hosted services.
- Help build and improve continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Participate in Scrum team planning and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Monitor system performance and create scalable, operable systems.
- Develop solutions independently and collaboratively for complex problems.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a .NET software engineer.
- Expertise writing secure APIs, microservices, reusable components, and modules.
- Good understanding of .NET web application development, build, and deployment.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Good understanding of Azure or AWS application development services and Node.js.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale, multi-user applications and optimizing Web APIs for large-scale usage.
- Experience with MVC.NET using Microsoft .NET Core, .NET Standard, and/or .NET Framework, dependency injection, ORM frameworks, IIS hosting, and SQL Server schema and query optimization.
- Experience with serverless architecture using AWS services is preferred.
- Apache Solr experience is a nice-to-have.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Very good spoken and written English, practical experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies, and a responsible, independent, collaborative, solution-oriented working style.
