Responsibilities
- Deliver well-scoped backend features for real-time threat analysis services with minimal supervision.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain microservices as part of an engineering team.
- Write clean, reliable production code with automated tests and robust edge-case handling.
- Deploy containerized services using AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and operational support for owned services.
- Continuously learn, improve, and contribute to team engineering standards.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience shipping production-quality backend software.
- Strong coding skills and a preference for simple, maintainable solutions.
- Experience with cloud-based services and deployments, preferably AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Golang is preferred; Java or other backend experience is also valuable.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS is preferred.
- Comfort working with distributed systems or microservices, with guidance on larger design decisions.
- Interest in working at the intersection of big data, cybersecurity, and real-time systems.
