Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot for critical business applications.
- Develop secure, resilient cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
- Implement SQL and PL/SQL logic and optimize MySQL database structures and queries.
- Create responsive JavaScript user interfaces integrated with backend services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, testers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain high code quality.
- Automate unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Monitor application health and performance using observability tools and remediate technical issues.
- Contribute to technical designs and documentation for complex systems.
- Mentor junior engineers on coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Coordinate with DevOps teams on AWS build and deployment pipelines and continuous delivery practices.
- Analyze production incidents and implement corrective measures that improve system stability.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL queries, MySQL, and relational database platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed database services.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development practices.
- Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards for cloud-hosted applications.
- Experience working in hybrid agile teams and collaborating through digital tools.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred, along with any Java or SQL certification.
