Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot for critical business applications.
- Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services to improve performance and operational resilience.
- Implement SQL and PL/SQL logic and optimize MySQL structures and queries for high-volume workloads.
- Create responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and integrate them with backend services.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, testers, and DevOps teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and automate unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Monitor application health, investigate production incidents, and implement corrective measures.
- Contribute to technical designs and documentation and mentor junior engineers.
- Support build and deployment pipelines and continuous integration and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL queries, MySQL, and relational database platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed database services.
- Solid JavaScript and modern frontend development knowledge.
- Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, secure coding, and cloud compliance practices.
- Experience working in hybrid Agile teams.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate preferred, with Java or SQL certification also accepted.
