Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and consume APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Develop scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement bug fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Contribute to deployment pipelines and deployment processes.
Requirements
- 5–9 years of experience in Java backend development.
- B.Tech, M.Tech, Computer Science-related, or Information Technology education.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8, Java 11, or Java 17+.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Experience building APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of JUnit and Mockito.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, MongoDB, and high-volume distributed environments.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a nice-to-have.
