Responsibilities
- Deliver features critical to Xero’s success in the UK
- Respond to customer needs and help shape the right UK product
- Solve complex problems across Xero’s products independently
- Navigate regional requirements and global roadmaps to maximize business value
- Design, build, and ship solutions across product areas including Payments, Accounting, and Payroll
- Collaborate with product owners, partner teams, and global engineering colleagues
- Deliver robust, scalable code suitable for long-term ownership
Requirements
- Experience with resilient software design and agile development
- Experience with C#, React, and AWS
- Ability to solve complex problems independently and learn unfamiliar codebases and domains quickly
- Ability to collaborate and influence teams across a global engineering organization
- Commitment to high-quality, robust, scalable software engineering practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
