Responsibilities
- Engineer, configure, improve, and support Zero Trust solutions for secure internet and private application access.
- Translate security, network, and business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Contribute across requirements analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, release, and operational handover activities.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity, policy, authentication, and application-access issues and coordinate vendor escalations.
- Collaborate with network, security, identity, cloud, endpoint, and application teams on integrated solutions.
- Create and maintain technical designs, implementation procedures, test cases, release notes, and operational documentation.
- Improve service reliability, user experience, monitoring, and operational efficiency while following engineering, security, software development lifecycle, and release-management requirements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding and practical application of Zero Trust principles for internet and private application access.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise secure access, secure web gateway, zero trust network access, or similar security platforms.
- Experience designing, implementing, or operating secure access solutions in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong enterprise networking knowledge, including IP, routing, DNS, TLS, proxies, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAML-based authentication, multifactor authentication, certificates, and Conditional Access.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler Private Access and configuring, troubleshooting, and improving policies across Zscaler services.
- Experience with REST APIs for automation and scripting or automation languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Wireshark, Fiddler, and ServiceNow.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, document clearly, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
