Base Salary
$133k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy components of the new financial platform.
- Build secure, reliable, high-performance infrastructure and APIs.
- Work with infrastructure engineering to minimize the operational overhead of deployed production systems.
- Write thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance with the QA team.
- Apply test-driven development and agile methodologies.
- Participate in the production on-call rotation and incident response.
Requirements
- At least four years of engineering experience.
- Professional experience with Go is required.
- Experience contributing to backend systems and payment processing systems.
- Preferred experience with Ruby, Java, Python, AWS or other cloud platforms, cloud-native technology, and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of architectural patterns for large, mission-critical production services is a bonus.
- Experience working in continuous integration and deployment environments is a bonus.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents outside regular working hours when necessary.
