Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production features across frontend and backend systems using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres.
- Create clean, accessible user interfaces and connect them to reliable backend APIs.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Support service health through logging, metrics, and incident troubleshooting.
- Continuously learn and apply modern software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrate experience with modern frontend, backend, or full-stack web development.
- Be motivated to work across React frontend and Node.js/TypeScript backend environments.
- Have foundational knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Demonstrate a product-oriented approach focused on user experience, code quality, and reliable delivery.
- Bring strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, GraphQL, database ORMs/query builders, edtech or LMS platforms, and web security principles including OWASP and OAuth/OIDC.
