Base Salary
$151k - $297k/yr
Responsibilities
- Innovate in the area of flexible schema databases.
- Research state-of-the-art query systems to inform design.
- Leverage knowledge of product strengths and industry trends for technical direction.
- Set strategy, architect plans, and lead team execution.
- Advise management on roadmap, processes, architecture, and design.
- Identify, design, implement, test, and support new features related to query performance.
- Coordinate changes in a feature-rich, large code base with other engineers.
- Collaborate with other teams on project contributions.
- Mentor and coach team members.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data management systems.
- Experience building production-level code with a large user base.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with large code bases in C++ or another systems programming language.
- Passion for database query engines and hands-on experience in the database domain.
