Responsibilities
- Understand overall product and platform requirements and the requirements for assigned features or modules.
- Architect, design, develop, debug, and implement software features and enhancements.
- Develop frontend and backend code and create unit test cases.
- Investigate software and system problems, fix defects, and track issues to closure.
- Collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams to meet product release quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and schedule goals.
- Develop prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and product ideas to the team and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of proven experience with Java, J2EE, or .NET programming.
- At least two years of frontend web development experience using modern frameworks such as AngularJS or React on Azure Cloud.
- Experience working with Gen AI-based product development.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, microservice architecture, DevOps, continuous integration, delivery and deployment, and version control such as Git.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Medical device design and development experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
- Understanding of software development processes in regulated environments, including FDA and ISO 13485, and experience in medical device verification are preferred.
