Base Salary
$170k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality vertically integrated C++ software systems for on-vehicle and off-vehicle autonomous vehicle functions.
- Analyze field data, logs, and simulation results.
- Work across embedded, controls, sensor processing, manufacturing calibration, simulation, data analysis, state machines, interfaces, fault management, and automation.
- Participate in requirements reviews, project planning, and other cross-functional workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience developing production software in modern C++.
- Professional experience specifically with C++, including C++17 or C++20, rather than general C/C++ experience.
- Experience with at least one of real-time or embedded systems, or complex/distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include experience troubleshooting complex/distributed systems, microcontroller-based embedded systems and debugging tools, safety-critical systems or functional safety, and open-source projects demonstrating high-quality C++ development.
