Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
  • Understand and qualify customer goals with KPIs and effectively articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them.
  • Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses & business justification.
  • Assist in partner-led and partner-assisted sales motions including partner enablement, education, demo, POC, RFP.
  • Deliver and record occasional partner onboarding and enablement webinars.
  • Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.
  • Distill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Continuously learn and update skills and keep aware of industry trends in the Search and Discovery space.
  • Work with the Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on seamless transition to the post-sales process.

Requirements

  • Strong desire to help solve problems with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience.
  • 4+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in the SaaS space.
  • Previous software development experience in front-end or back-end technologies.
  • Experience with data modeling, data transformation and enrichment.
  • Great oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience delivering technical presales workshops.
  • Experience working with channel partners such as SIs or ISVs.
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to manage multiple customers.
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
