Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, sustain, and document GUI and underlying framework software for equipment control and automation products.
  • Perform analysis, design, and implementation for assigned projects while meeting engineering, business, and product requirements.
  • Translate customer requirements into software requirements and identify optimized solutions with global teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex software problems and provide timely status updates and proactive stakeholder communication.
  • Build software enhancements and fixes from requirements through product launch and develop an understanding of relevant equipment and product domains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or a Master of Computer Applications.
  • 4–7 years of experience in product software development with strong Windows desktop or standalone user-interface development experience.
  • Strong C# and .NET programming skills, including WinForms, WPF, collections, component models, and threads.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and basic operating system concepts.
  • Experience with source-control tools such as Git and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Industrial automation GUI development experience is preferred.
  • Experience with agentic coding or AI agent tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot is preferred.
