Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, project management, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and delivery timelines.
- Build, maintain, and support scalable software throughout its lifecycle, including new implementations, technical maintenance, and documentation.
- Apply sound judgment to resolve complex tasks involving architectural application changes.
- Enforce code quality through development practices, code reviews, pull-request reviews, and adherence to product and design specifications.
- Mentor and support developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, technical leadership, and constructive feedback.
- Recommend improvements to development, coding, maintenance, and system standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building highly scalable and performant modern JavaScript/TypeScript web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to write clear, robust, and well-documented code.
- Experience integrating API specifications while collaborating with service teams.
- Ability to manage projects from beginning to end, design workflows, and complete tasks under urgent timelines.
- Ability to mentor developers and provide constructive feedback.
- Preferred experience shipping production React/Node.js applications with high availability and throughput on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Preferred understanding of web accessibility fundamentals, web standards, and new technologies.
