Responsibilities
- Define cloud architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS-based solutions for complex workloads.
- Drive cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives for applications and data platforms.
- Establish cloud governance, security frameworks, and best practices using IAM, KMS, and Vault.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for multi-environment deployments.
- Architect big data solutions using EMR clusters and EMR Serverless.
- Optimize cloud costs through rightsizing, reserved instances, and tagging policies.
- Oversee Jenkins and Git CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders on cloud roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend containerization and serverless architectures.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience, including at least 6+ years in cloud architecture and AWS.
- Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, EMR, IAM, KMS, VPC, and Lambda.
- Experience with EMR clusters and EMR Serverless.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Experience with Jenkins and Git for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of security and compliance, including IAM and KMS.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to define cloud adoption frameworks and governance models.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers.
