Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, evaluate, and optimize production machine learning models and AI solutions.
- Build agentic AI and multi-agent systems with tool use, planning, memory, reasoning, autonomous decision-making, and multi-step task execution.
- Implement large-scale ML pipelines for training, evaluation, inference, model versioning, monitoring, and deployment.
- Develop robust microservices architectures, APIs, event-driven systems, and highly available AI services across multiple programming languages.
- Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines for machine learning models.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, lead technical design discussions, contribute to architecture decisions, and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, platform engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive technical innovation and adoption of new tools and engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- At least five years of hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices-based systems.
- Experience building autonomous AI agents with tool use, reasoning, planning, and multi-step task execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Java, plus experience with deep learning frameworks, data processing, and machine learning libraries.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Spring Boot, microservices frameworks, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with MLOps practices, model versioning, monitoring, deployment strategies, and cloud ML services or infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, message queues, event-driven architectures, containerization, orchestration, SQL and NoSQL databases, API design, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to deliver complex AI projects from conception through production, with strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD, agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen, agent orchestration patterns, advanced prompting, transformer architectures, LLMs, vector databases, RAG, open-source AI/ML contributions, AI/ML publications, real-time inference, federated learning, edge AI, distributed training, MLflow, Kubeflow, multi-cloud architectures, LoRA/QLoRA, PEFT, Ray, FSDP, DeepSpeed, PyTorch Distributed, and continuous model feedback loops.
