Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, evaluate, and optimize production machine learning models and AI solutions.
- Build autonomous agentic AI and multi-agent systems with tool use, reasoning, planning, memory, and multi-step task execution.
- Develop large-scale ML training, evaluation, inference, and MLOps pipelines.
- Implement AI/ML algorithms for areas including natural language processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures, APIs, and event-driven AI systems.
- Build highly available, fault-tolerant, performant, and maintainable AI services using multiple programming languages.
- Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines for ML models.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, platform engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive technical innovation and adoption of new tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices-based systems.
- Experience building autonomous AI agents with tool use, reasoning, planning, and multi-step task execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Java, plus experience with deep learning, data processing, and machine learning libraries.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Spring Boot, microservices frameworks, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with MLOps practices, model versioning, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure ML services and infrastructure.
- Understanding of distributed systems, message queues, event-driven architectures, containerization, orchestration, SQL and NoSQL databases, API design, RESTful services, Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to deliver complex AI projects from conception through production, with strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Preferred experience includes agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain and AutoGen, agent orchestration patterns, advanced prompting, transformer architectures, LLMs, vector databases, RAG systems, real-time inference, model optimization, federated learning, edge AI, distributed training, MLflow, Kubeflow, multi-cloud architectures, LoRA/QLoRA, PEFT, Ray, FSDP, DeepSpeed, PyTorch Distributed, and continuous model feedback loops.
- Preferred qualifications also include a PhD, open-source contributions, and publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals.
