Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end product cybersecurity compliance and secure product development.
- Own and continuously improve the Secure Development Lifecycle for cybersecurity.
- Translate cybersecurity requirements into product capabilities and develop security architecture and design solutions.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and release security clearances.
- Implement RBAC, secure protocols, hardening, firewalls, routers, gateways, and data protection mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy requirements, customer standards, IEC 62443, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
- Coordinate with product, platform, assurance, vendor, and customer teams across the product lifecycle.
- Support customer deployments and incident response activities.
- Research technology and product development strategies, coordinate pilot runs, and recommend new equipment and materials within established budgets and targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in electronics or computer science.
- At least 7+ years of cybersecurity experience related to industrial control system design and development, preferably in the power industry.
- Experience with cybersecurity SDLC, secure data communication, network security, and compliance in energy industries and associated systems.
- Experience applying IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards, EU Cyber Resilience Act guidelines, and industry best practices for resilient hardened software systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, communication gateways, network architecture, system administration, and infrastructure configuration.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting servers, workstations, switches, routers, and firewalls, including root cause analysis.
- Cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage.
