Responsibilities
- Integrate security capabilities spanning identity and access management, data protection, network security, and application security.
- Develop and manage security orchestration and automation requirements with DevOps and application teams.
- Create correlation rules and incident response workflows or playbooks with incident response teams.
- Evaluate cloud security technologies, drive adoption, and create proofs of concept and frameworks.
- Develop system integrations and automate processes supporting security operations and audit compliance.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles, CIS benchmarks, and CSA Cloud Controls Matrix practices.
- Travel or perform fieldwork, including potential international travel, as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in programming, systems, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 9 years of overall analysis and programming experience.
- At least 4 years of experience developing automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Python, AWS Lambda, Go, Unix/Linux administration, and shell scripting.
- Experience with log aggregation solutions such as ELK, Splunk, or Sumo Logic.
- Familiarity with SOAR platforms such as Demisto or Phantom.
- Experience deploying and integrating security technologies and working with computer security domains including network security, application security, security protocols, or cryptography.
- Experience with CIS benchmarks, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, and AWS security capabilities such as WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups, and IAM is preferred.
- Experience with continuous compliance tools such as CloudCheckr, Cloud Conformity, or similar multicloud management tools is preferred.
- AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialty certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
