Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and test the OESIS Framework in C++ across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Implement support for third-party security applications using scripting languages.
- Own features through requirements clarification, design, implementation, testing, and release.
- Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools for code generation, refactoring, test creation, and debugging while ensuring code quality.
- Develop AI-assisted engineering practices and prototype AI-powered endpoint posture analysis, detection-gap triage, and application support capabilities.
- Research and apply new technologies, participate in code and design reviews, and collaborate with Product Management and QA.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, with broader review leadership at the senior level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience for the senior level, with feature ownership and mentoring experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, multithreaded programming, and system design.
- Excellent coding and debugging skills, including diagnosing issues across operating-system boundaries and large codebases.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools, including reviewing, verifying, and testing generated code.
- Working knowledge of LLM fundamentals such as prompt and context design, tool or function calling, output evaluation, and data privacy.
- Hands-on experience conducting code and design reviews.
- Development experience on Windows, Linux, and/or macOS.
- Preferred experience with scripting languages, LLM API integrations, MCP, RAG, agent frameworks, native operating-system APIs, cybersecurity, DBMS technologies, and Agile/Scrum.
