Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and test the OESIS Framework using C++ across various operating systems.
- Implement support for third-party security applications using scripting languages.
- Own features end to end, including requirements clarification, design, implementation, and testing.
- Utilize AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, and debugging.
- Prototype and evaluate AI-powered product capabilities.
- Research and apply new technologies to enhance existing features.
- Participate in peer code and design reviews, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with Product Management and QA to meet product requirements.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience with a track record of feature ownership.
- Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with multi-threaded programming and system design.
- Excellent coding and debugging skills across OS boundaries.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in development work.
- Working knowledge of LLM fundamentals relevant to engineering.
- Experience conducting code and design reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Development experience on Windows, Linux, and/or macOS platforms.
