Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features across the MetaDefender Endpoint C++/Qt codebase.
- Utilize AI coding tools daily to enhance coding, testing, and documentation.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Author and maintain AI context files for consistent code production.
- Review code changes with a focus on security.
- Mentor teammates on AI tool usage and C++ best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional C++ development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in memory management, concurrency, and secure coding.
- Experience shipping cross-platform desktop software, primarily on Windows.
- Debugging skills with tools like WinDbg, lldb, or gdb.
- Unit testing experience with frameworks like GoogleTest or Catch2.
- 1+ years of experience using AI-assisted development tools in production.
